	:Yes, I too found it very useful however the people who design the wiki don't remove it with us in mind. The problem was that each time a page was hit, it wrote to the database and on larger wikis that created a bottleneck which slowed down their servers. The wiki designers totally removed that option. So no, it can't be turned back on. However feel free to go over to [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki mediaWiki] and bitch at them about it (I think Lysander already has and was told that they wouldn't even consider making it an optional feature).
