Articles on BoyWiki which try to include too many details but end up being misleading or containing falsehoods.: new section

New page

== Articles on BoyWiki which try to include too many details but end up being misleading or containing falsehoods. ==

Most of the articles on BoyWiki are written by amateurs (I could be included in that category myself, on many topics) and therefore often contain factual errors.

I believe each article we have should first answer the basic question, "What about this topic is ''different'' than what the usual person [who is ''not'' a BoyLover] needs to know?"

For example, we have an article on computer hard disks. It contains some false and misleading information, as it tries to skim over too many technical details. I think the article should stress that it is ''absolute essential'' for a BoyLover to understand that data can be recovered from a hard drive if certain precautionary steps are not taken. The article should/could give examples of BoyLovers who were convicted based on information recovered from their hard drives. Then the article should list external sources with greater technical detail and more information. We don't need to go into any great detail about how hard drives function, etc. because that information is better explained ''elsewhere''.

The thing that should always be kept in mind (I believe) when creating and editing articles is, "What about this topic is ''different'' than what the usual person [who is ''not'' a BoyLover] needs to know? What should be included to address ''BoyLovers''' issues and problems regarding the topic?" [[User:User4|User4]] ([[User talk:User4|talk]]) 22:40, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
