I remember reading a story on BoyChat from many years back, where an ex-fake boy came clean and explained everything that drove him and so on. Hi,

I can think of at least a couple of posts that might meet that description. But the one I remember best was by a poster known as Simba. He and his YF who turned out to actually be Simba were pretty good on-line buddies with Tygyr, Astro, me and a few other BLs. He kept up the illusion for about a year before admitting to it. He posted a long explanation on BC - I think sometime in early or mid 1998. If that's the post you're thinking of, you might want to ask Wu-Kung to search for it in the archives. Simba didn't post much on the board so it shouldn't be too difficult to pin down the message. There wouldn't be exactly reams of material to wade through. I am in touch with Simba via email if contact with him would be useful.

Of course you may be thinking of some other poster entirely and no nicks or details are springing to mind for other examples, I'm afraid.
