There are a couple of sentences I don't quite understand:<br />

Does this mean that the episodes are recordings of Skype conversations? Why did they need splicing? Or did the author mean "condensed" or "edited" (general cutting and rearranging) for "spliced" (joining separate recordings)?<br />

Not knowing anything at all about podcasts, I'm unsure what it means that an episode is "open". I assume that what is meant is that discussion of the episodes still is open.<br />

:It is difficult to record a whole Skype conversation from a local computer, Skype has certain protections meant to prevent it, so it means that each invidual is recording their own peice of the skype conversation and the various recordings are all sent to one person and subsequently spliced together.<br />
