Crossroads began in January of 2000 and is a debate forum for boylovers and non-boylovers. The only rules of the forum are related to security of the participants.

History

Crossroads was started because some regular posters at Close Encounters, another message board, found the rules too restrictive there. honesty and Adam Selene urged administrators to solve the problem by creating a new message board. The new board was opened and initially named "CE Free", with honesty as the first moderator and Hooked providing the graphic design. The board was renamed "Crossroads" in May 2000. A metaboard, CE Comments, served both Close Encounters and Crossroads.

Crossroads proved popular and is still in business today. Its predecessor Close Encounters, however, shut down in September 2000.
