- 1956 - The legacy of a former loved boy, perhaps? - Actor, Director, and Producer Mel Gibson was born on this date. His choice of projects has led some to speculate on his seeming pedo-friendliness. In addition to working closely with various cute boys in movies, he chose The Man Without A Face as his directorial debut and cast himself as the pedo. He is currently casting young men for the upcoming HBO series he is producing about Alexander the Great, a famous historical pedo.
- 1997 - A saga drags on some more - Police investigating a Belgian child sex ring began digging for evidence on this date in the grounds of a house that burned to the ground. The bodies of two teen-age girls were found at the house in September. The last person to live there was a Frenchman named Bernard Weinstein, whom Marc Dutroux, the main suspect in an internationally known pedo case, has confessed to killing. Dutroux admitted he kidnapped the two girls found dead in the house. Dutroux had already been to prison for kidnap and rape of minors.
- 2002 - "That's one artistic little snatch there!" - Red Herring Magazine reported on this date that "Illegal child pornography is booming, thanks to the Internet--and the unwitting support of corporate America." the article described various Russian "Lolita" porn sites that passed legal hurdles by claiming that their pictures were art. It also describes how easy it is for KP site operators to set up and to evade the law, virtually offering step by step instructions.
