The security certificate has lapsed at newgon.net, so there is some question as to whether the site can be trusted, and the possibility exists that javascript exploits may be present on the site which could expose the IP address of the person accessing the site (it is unlikely, but it is a possibility). I personally do not access newgon.net because I will not take such risks, even if they are small--but you may feel differently.
