Help needed from music buffs

This article was started using pointers found in the thread BC:983642 started by Silent Sufferer.

I would like to mention some of the festivals, orchestras, and directors the choir has been involved with, but feel like the extensive list at Wikipedia:de:Tölzer Knabenchor would be an overkill for this article. Could somebody with more knowledge about these pick out the most notable ones and put them in the article?

I thought I'd translate this telling testimonial from the German talk page:

The leaders of the choir do their work with admirable love and enthusiasm. My son (also from Munich) has profited not only musically, but in the development of his whole personality.

I've just about exhausted the Wikipedia article and Almost Angels. There still is a lot of unused material on the official site.

Some more stuff copied from German Wikipedia and edited with invaluable help from Atom. I or somebody else will put this in the article later:

The choir will perfom a 50th anniversay concert on Friday, 2 June 2006 in the Franziskanerkirche in Bad Tölz. Bach motets, BWV 225-230.

I translated the album names in the discography, but I think it looks pretty messy. I couldn't think of any elegant ways to integrate the translations, and I guess they were not really that important in the first place, so I'll just put them here:

  • Frühling-Sommer-Herbst u. Winter (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter)
  • Der Tölzer Knabenchor singt seine schönsten Volkslieder (Most Beautiful Folk Songs)
