In the Russian BL communities today, "boylove" is usually simply transliterated rather than rendered into Russian. Most Russian BL chat boards and other resources Use BL and the transliteration of "boylove" in their text. I'd be happy to provide a parenthetical expansion inthe portion of the text that already uses the translation rather than the transliteration.

Hmm, I am open to fresh translations but otherwise I would like to keep the meaning the same as the original text of the Boylove Manifesto. Even though it doesn't necessarily fit the BL world as it is today, that's rather the point of having it here--this is the opinion of a German boylover in 1997 and it was a great honor to receive permission to reproduce it. I think your comment about the usage of "boylove" is great here on the discussion page. Could you transliterate "boylove" here for us? --Hínandil 19:10, 22 September 2005 (EDT)

Hi Hin,

In Cyrillic characters it's Бойлав. In Roman characters it's Boulav, or something like that depending on which standard one prefers.
