The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series developed by Frank Darabont. It is based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman,Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. It stars Chandler Riggs as Carl, the son of the sheriff's deputy Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).[2] Rick awakens from a coma to find a post-apocalyptic world dominated by flesh-eating zombies. He sets out to find his family and encounters many other survivors along the way.

Carl

Carl Grimes is a main character and survivor of the outbreak in AMC's The Walking Dead. He is portrayed by Chandler Carlton[3] Riggs (born June 27, 1999) who is an American child actor. In the series as well as the comic book, he is son of Rick and Lori Grimes. During the initial outbreak, Carl believed his father to be dead, so he and his mother joined Shane Walsh to travel to Atlanta for the refugee camp. As time goes on, he slowly becomes hardened, due to the severe loss of life and the environment around him
