Les membres du comité sont en général issus des contributeurs et administrateurs des ressources de Free Spirits. Le nombre de membres de ce comité n&#039;est pas limité.<br /> <br /> ==Historique==<br /> <br /> Le Comité de Free Spirits est issu du [[Comité de direction de Boychat]] fondé par [[Jimf3]]. L&#039;appellation &quot;Comité de Free Spirits&quot; a été utilisée à partir de fin 1997. A ses débuts, le FSC s&#039;est efforcé d&#039;acquérir et mettre en production un serveur dédié afin de favoriser son indépendance vis à vis des [[hébergeur]]s commerciaux. Le webmestre de [[Boychat]] était à cette époque automatiquement placé à la tête du FSC.<br /> <br /> Free Spirits poursuivant de plus en plus de projets, beaucoup d&#039;entre eux hébergés par [[FPC]], il est devenu évident qu&#039;un comité unique ne pouvait plus à la fois s&#039;attacher aux détails et garder une vision d&#039;ensemble, notamment au regard de l&#039;exigence principale : la conservation de la connectivité. <br /> <br /> A partir de décembre 1999, le FSC a remis entre les mains d&#039;individus ou de groupes quasi-indépendants l&#039;établissement des politiques et la responsabilité de la gestion des ressources.
