Islamic earthenware ataifor (shallow serving bowl) with white tin-enameled obverse and honey-colored lead-glazed reverse, decorated on the interior with a mottled deer holding two stems in its mouth, painted in copper green and manganese blackish purple. Spain, al-Andalus, Caliphate of Córdoba. Medina Azahara style, 10th century, Umayyad dynasty. Valencia, Museo Nacional de Cerámica y Artes Suntuarias González Martí, CE1/02858.
