RationalWiki is a wiki ostensibly devoted to analyzing and refuting pseudoscience and the anti-science movement, documenting the full range of crank ideas, explorations of authoritarianism and fundamentalism, and analysis and criticism of how these subjects are handled in the media. The site essentially has the kind of point of view that, having been widely embraced by the public, has led to NAMBLA's being vilified, while the types of views espoused by organizations like RSOL receive thoughtful consideration and some sympathy from the mainstream. That is, it is okay to argue that some sex offender laws are pointless, wasteful, or counterproductive; or that children should have sexual freedom (at least to masturbate and have sex with each other without being hindered or stigmatized); but any sympathetic treatment of pedophilia or pederasty is strictly forbidden.
