Agora/15 April 2016

BoyChat posters sometimes make posts that would be appropriate for BoyWiki

Why are those posters not being invited to become editors, and to build articles based on their BoyChat posts?

And why have the very few people who have in the recent past become editors virtually ceased editing?

And why--when it is obvious that what the admin has been doing for the past few years in terms of encouraging people to become editors has not worked at all--do the admin continue to totally ignore reasonable suggestions which could--rather, definitely would!--encourage more people to participate?

And why are virtually none of the very interesting and informative books and articles which have been linked to in recent BoyWiki articles being downloaded?

And why are Agora posts which ask questions ignored by the admin at BoyWiki?

And why do I even bother--knowing that no answers are likely to be forthcoming--to even post these questions here?

And why does the admin appear to not understand what is important and what matters--that is, what the problems are, and what the solutions are?

And, last of all, could there be some correlation between above-mentioned "problems", and the dearth of readers of/contributors to BoyWiki? User4 (talk) 23:47, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

If you have a problem with me, feel free to email the BoyWiki Council or the Free Spirits council. And why have the very few people who have in the recent past become editors virtually ceased editing? that one is easy, you don't play well with others and people don't want to work with you. If you don't believe me then ask Lysander, Wanker, or anyone else. --Etenne 23:57, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
1) At this point, you are the only one willing to administer BW. It would be just plain dumb for me to complain to anyone else.
2) Lysander invited me to his ChildWiki blog, where there were no problems between he and I. In fact, one of the main reasons that he closed CW was due to my ceasing to participate (and that was because of Internet connectivity problems I suffered).
3) Subsequently, Lysander posted frequently on BC, where he was roundly criticized for his lack of skills in thinking, for his ignorance, and for his inability to understand even when his "thinking errors" were clearly explained to him.
4) Wanker objected to Tor being recommended for use by BoyLovers, as he claimed (falsely) that Tor had a "back door". It is untrue that Tor has any "back doors". Tor, when used correctly, is the safest way to surf the Internet (as long as javascript is not enabled. When Wanker realized that I was right, and that he was wrong, it was then that he stopped editing. And--to demonstrate conclusively Wanker's lack of knowledge about secure Internet browsing--one only needs to point out that he uses a mobile phone to access BL-related sites--which is an extremely extremely extremely foolish thing for a BoyLover to do.
5) "...or anyone else"? If you ask intelligent, competent, informed people, you will find that they do not criticize me as did Wanker and Lysander.
6) One of the most important signs of intelligence is the ability to recognize those with superior knowledge, greater experience, and more highly developed thinking skills. There is a very interesting article (unfortunately, I can't find it among the thousands of articles I have on disk) which discusses this phenomenon in detail, and demonstrates how "those who don't know, don't even know that they don't know."
7) Blaming others for one's own shortcomings is a common, though faulty, way to handle criticisms.
8) I think you could benefit from listening to those who may know more than you, especially about how to motivate editors and how to promote BW. User4 (talk) 01:04, 16 April 2016 (UTC)
I just happened upon a minutes-ago post made by Lysander on BC, where Lysander's arguments (as usualy) have been carefully and very thoroughly rebutted by the poster Truth Sander: https://www.boychat.org/messages/1471145.htm User4 (talk) 01:16, 16 April 2016 (UTC)
