A sex offense (also called a "sex crime") is a artificial category of offenses created by those who wish to criminalize (and sensationalize) sexual activity which they oppose, usually on moral grounds. So are you saying that rape never happens? Because that is how that reads. --Etenne

- No, I'm not saying that rape never happens. Are you aware that forced sexual assault ("rape") is not everywhere considered to be a sex offense? User4 (talk) 00:04, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
- I don't know that, and neither will almost every person who read this... if that is true you need to provide that information as well as references. Also that statement needs a reference/authoritative source i.e. who says it "is a artificial category of offenses" who doesn't? --Etenne 00:20, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
