The hyacinth is a flower that has long been associated with boylove and it's origins can be linked to the Mycenaean era (1600 - 1100 BC). The story of Apollo and his young lover Hyacinth was well know in Ancient Greek society and may have provided inspiration for countless generations of boylovers in antiquity.
