::If you implement it as an extension, it isn't that bad, because the extensions don't get overwritten when you upgrade, as core hacks would. I might be able to do something with [[mediawikiwiki:Manual:Hooks/UploadForm:BeforeProcessing]]. I'll let you know. I like this idea a lot... I may want to work on it a bit to see if I can and maybe add a separate page as a "to-do-list". I will have to give it some thought. --Etenne (talk) 12:41, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

And a search for "upload images" does not give a hit to this page. Maybe we need a "keyword" thingy for pages, so that search terms will find them?
It took me 20 minutes to find this page again - I knew it was here, but I could not find it. That 20 minutes could have been spent better on something else, I believe... User4 (talk) 21:25, 2 March 2015 (UTC)
