I like this idea a lot... I may want to work on it a bit to see if I can and maybe add a separate page as a "to-do-list". I will have to give it some thought. --Etenne (talk) 12:41, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

Category for this page

Shouldn't it also be listed under:

https://www.boywiki.org/en/Special:SpecialPages

... somewhere?

And a search for "upload images" does not give a hit to this page. Maybe we need a "keyword" thingy for pages, so that search terms will find them?

It took me 20 minutes to find this page again - I knew it was here, but I could not find it. That 20 minutes could have been spent better on something else, I believe... User4 (talk) 21:25, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

Special:SpecialPages can't be modified in that way or at least, it is beyond my technical skill to do so. Changes to the actual wiki software is difficult and makes upgrading the software much more difficult. --Etenne (talk) 14:42, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
You can implement what he's talking about using User:Leucosticte/UploadPermissionsError. It does require one hack to the core. Leucosticte (talk) 15:42, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
The question of allowing links to .torrents was settled several years ago. There must be a disclaimer re: the responsibility of the downloader in determining the legality in his jurisdiction.

If you live in a jurisdiction where downloading books for personal use and not-for-profit use is protected/allowed by law (and therefore *not* a copyright violation) these books may be found on P2P file-sharing sites.*
(Obey your local/national copyright laws!)
OBEY YOUR LOCAL COPYRIGHT LAWS!
If you live where downloading copyrighted material for personal, non-profit use is permitted by law, you might want to download:
OBEY YOUR LOCAL LAWS.
Obey your local copyright laws. Some jurisdictions allow downloading copyrighted material for personal, non-profit use.
(OBEY YOUR LOCAL COPYRIGHT LAWS!)
Obey your local copyright laws. Some jurisdictions allow downloading copyrighted material for personal, non-profit use.
Only download material where it is legal to do so. Obey your local copyright laws.

If my system wasn't so slow, I could give you many more examples.

The question was decided long ago at BC - there must be a disclaimer. That's all.

And about Hagen's book - if you go to her site you see that her site gives permission to download the book. She is the author.
