Pornology is the study of porn, or the collection of knowledge about it (like mythology). The practitioner is a pornologist. The term emerged in the United States in the late 1980's or early 1990's. It now has a scholarly journal, Porn Studies, and previously books containing collections of articles studying porn. If anyone knows of a study of boy pornography please add it here.
