It is essential that any URLs mentioned in articles be backed-up on archive.is to ensure that the link does not disappear, change, etc. One link in this article - the one referring to "shirtless boys" - has now been archived at: https://archive.is/NF3i9

If article links are not archived as described above, soon many will become unusable. Perhaps the original link should be given in articles, followed by an archive.is link to an archived copy.

I am not sure what "archive.is" is but if it's OK with Bernie then it's OK with me.

archive.is is a free service of archive.org available to anyone who wishes to take a "snapshot" of any existing webpage to ensure that a copy is archived on the web. Just use this link < archive.is > and read what it says. Bernie seems not to know that archive.is exists, or how to use it. It really is a valuable service, one which should be used more by us - we who see so much of what we do "disappearing" from the web.

Off-topic: Please inform Kristofor on BC that some (a small part, only up to late 2012) of his cjat site is archived with archive dot org at this URL: < http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://cjat.org/* > He can click on the archived files in the list which appears that he wishes to view, then at the next screen, scroll down to the "Impatient? Click here." link, and click it (if the redirect does not function automatically). You may make Kristofor very happy to be able to recover some of his site by posting this to BC, as he appears to be unaware of this. Unfortunately, the essay he did about "state-rape" was not saved.
