The long promotional campaign for “Stranger Things” Season 4 added a harrowing new wrinkle on Saturday with a first look at the “Creel House” — i.e. the home of new character Victor Creel, played by 1980s horror icon Robert Englund (“A Nightmare on Elm Street”). Creel has been imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital since his family was violently murdered in the 1950s, which Creel blamed on a vengeful demon.

“Sweet Tooth” has been renewed for Season 2 at Netflix, Variety has learned. The second season will consist of eight, one-hour episodes. News of the renewal comes just under two months after the debut of the first season, which dropped on June 4.

Horror icon and killer doll Chucky is coming back for an all-new TV show on Syfy called The Legacy of Chucky, and he’ll be joined by a gay main character (Zach Arthur).

The acquisition encompasses all 18 titles in Rice’s long-running Vampire Chronicles and Mayfair Witches series of books. “Interview,” published in 1976, will be the first tome to be turned into a proper show. The first season will be comprised of 8-episodes to air on both AMC network and their exclusive AMC+ service next year.
