Proposal to change project page name

I suggest this page be moved to "Supporting BoyWiki", as "Site support" sounds like a place you go to get technical support for using the site. --Asch 20:13, 28 September 2005 (EDT)

Hm, I like the sound of that. There's zero reason that we couldn't do that. Let's see what people say.  :) --Hínandil 21:17, 28 September 2005 (EDT)
Just getting back to this, do we still think that BoyWiki:Supporting BoyWiki will be better than BoyWiki:Site_support? Since the page is already in the BoyWiki namespace.... --Hínandil 21:51, 30 December 2005 (EST)
I think so. I'm not sure if I understand your last sentence. Do you mean that mentioning BoyWiki twice will be superfluous? My response to that is that we still need to remove the ambiguity in that "Site support" doesn't make it clear that the site is the object of support, not the topic of support. Besides, the title of an article is logically separate from its namespace.
By the way, is it acceptable for me as a Scribe to move this page (obviously barring further objections), or should I leave it to admin?

Probably better to leave moving this (as a project page) to admin. Likewise, I'm glad you pulled together a new BoyWiki:Sigpics article from existing guidelines, but actually moving text out of the three main policy articles would have been bad (because they were all ratified by a supermajority of Curators and, in theory, changes would need to be made on a seperate page and reratified). Well, I still think BoyWiki:Supporting BoyWiki would look stupid. How about BoyWiki:Donations to match the sidebar link? --Hínandil 00:57, 9 February 2006 (EST)
"Donations" is excellent. Go for it!
