Talk:Anger

From BoyWiki

Why is it usually those who hate boylovers who get angry during debates about boylove, while the boylovers themselves usually remain calm? There is, after all, a lot of oppression that boylovers could get angry about.

Is it because the boylovers are not in a position of power in which they could act on their anger, so they don't bother getting angry? Or is it because boylovers are less emotionally reactive people in general, which is why they were able to think logically enough to begin with that they could reject the anti-boylove arguments? Or is it because of pedophobia or self-loathing hatred? Lysander (talk) 04:59, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

I have my own theories on this but basically it is an evolutionary trait. In short, Boylovers in general tend to be far less violent then other sexualities by natural design. Heterosexuals and lesbians needed to be violent in past times to protect their tribes in a hostile environment. Anger is an emotion of violence. Certainly boylovers feel anger (and to a lesser degree are capable of violence), we simply can't maintain that feeling in the same way non-boyloves can. That is why you will never see a BL terrorists group, it is not generally in our nature to blow shit up. Just look at all the different ways the heterosexuals have found to "act out", both overtly and passive-aggressively. We live in a time (and in an artificial environment) where such violence is no longer necessary but it still needs an outlet. Just look at TV and video games, current wars being played out etc... violence is accepted. Think about it. What they do is considered "normal and acceptable". You can show an image of someone being gruesomely murdered (even to a very young child) but showing an act of love is considered "inappropriate". Hetersexuals operate under the principal that "might makes right" which is also an indicator of their violent nature. Violence comes in many forms, you don't have to stab or kill someone to be violent. Hate speech, bullying, creating punitive laws etc, etc, etc, ad infinitum, these are all acts of aggression. --Etenne (talk) 12:20, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
