Talk:BLogo

My critique

Not about the article, but the symbol. I don't think it has any great symbolic power. I mean, the use of a triangle isn't even discussed in any authentic fashion! This looks like just another meaningless branding symbol churned out by any old advertising company! I think the 'Mb' of the original NAMBLA logo is awesome though. I really take to that one. __meco (talk) 18:09, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

I made a post at BoyChat referencing this critique. It engendered some heated discussion, though so far not really addressing my objections. __meco (talk) 15:04, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
I like the rainbow NAMBLA logo too. Did you notice that there's a rainbow BLogo too? I have it somewhere if you want it. Lysander (talk)
I had Etenne upload the one above because I don't like the "rainbow" logo. And it's not a rainbow, it's some color spectrum, but not the rainbow. Also, the Mb isn't highlighted in it, and that's the main point as I see it. It makes a sub-logo within the larger one. __meco (talk) 18:30, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
Here's the rainbow BLogo: http://childwiki.org/w/images/7/73/RAINBOW-BLOGO.jpg Lysander (talk) 18:53, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, and I don't like it a bit! Apart from my general dislike of the universal BL logo, what does the "rainbow" have to do with it at all? NOTHING! __meco (talk) 20:11, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
It symbolizes homosexual childlove. Lysander (talk) 22:58, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
It does so by pure, unimaginative invention, it appears to me. The rainbow and homosexuality is clearly a phony symbolism. __meco (talk) 18:00, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
