Talk:Tramp

From BoyWiki

Kes consistently used the term joker in the article, though the source (Ellis 1927, Appendix A) consistently uses jocker. Is there any particular reason for this, or is it a typo?

Just a consistent typo I'm afraid. Probably I had my mind in correct spelling http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/joker rather than the slang spelling used in the original text. Kes 09:56, 7 August 2006 (EST)
If I understand you correctly, jocker is slang for joker, and you intentionally normalized this in the article. If so, a small note could be entered to ease reading of the referenced work by Willard.

I subconsiously "normalized" it. Feel free to change it back to "jocker" if you wish so. Kes 09:40, 8 August 2006 (EST)
