What a succinct, provocative synopsis of the situation. Lysander (talk) 03:34, 12 March 2015 (UTC)

why did you move the page? Linguist (talk) 04:21, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
Because it seemed more like personal observations/reflections/opinions than an article. It can be hard to draw the line between an article and an essay, but I felt this was far enough along the continuum toward the latter that it was in danger of being deleted unless moved. You can move it back if you want, but I think it should be reworked first so that you're citing sources, etc. Lysander (talk) 16:21, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

I think this could be the beginning of a really great article! Young people are, indeed, "highly sexed" (despite the myths contained in the "child abuse narrative"). Studies have indicated (if I remember correctly) that males reach their sexual "peak performance" around the age of 16 or 17, which means that they are horny motherfuckers but with no legal outlet except masturbation available in many U.S. states (and that, too, would be illegal if the antisexists and sexophopes had their way!). Hmm... perhaps this explains the callouses so often noted on young boy's palms? ;-) User4 (talk) 11:14, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

I think it varies from kid to kid. As a child, I had an interest and a curiosity in genitalia (and in porn, too, when I was finally able to get hold of some, although by that point, I wasn't far from puberty), but it was nothing like the intense sex drive I had beginning in adolescence. But I guess the word "kid" can encompass both age groups. I wonder what my childhood would have been like if an unfiltered Internet connection had been available. (I was born in 1980.) Lysander (talk) 16:36, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
When I was a quite young kid -- around 7 or 8 -- I was having sex with any object around me that I could push up against -- table edges of child-size tables was a favorite. Of course, I didn't know it was sex I was having, and I couldn't yet orgasm. But hump away, I sure did! Anything that couldn't move away from me fast enough got a hell of a humping!!! But when I got older (around 14) everything changed. And no, I never had callouses on the palms of my hands. Nope. No callouses.
But I did have lots of blisters, though... User4 (talk) 17:27, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
I don't think you're right that minor boys have no legal outlet for their sexuality. They can legally have sex with age peers. Wanker (talk) 17:02, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
@Wanker - Well, I said "in many U.S. states". Only some states have "close in age" exemptions. I believe that in most states, all sexual activity engaged in by young people under the age of consent is automatically punishable by law -- whether the activity is with an adult or with another minor -- a minor of any age. User4 (talk) 17:27, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, but of course those kids who don't have any game often end up remaining celibate. Lysander (talk) 17:06, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
I believe that when people hear the word "celibate" they think that means "without sex". Lots of people remain celibate, but jack off like crazy. User4 (talk) 17:27, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Polymorphously perverse

The topic of "seductive kids" could hardly be discussed without pulling in Sigmund Freud's concept of polymorphous perversity, i.e. the theory that children are sexual subjects whose arousal and subsequent actions make no concessions to morality or any other adult conceptions of how children ought to express their needs for social, including physical, contact with other people. __meco (talk) 13:23, 31 October 2015 (UTC)
