"The" Boylove Code of Ethics leads one to believe that only one code of ethics for BoyLovers exists. Is this true? Can you provide a reference for that? Otherwise, shouldn't it be "A" Boylove Code of Ethics or "One" Boylove Code of Ethics? Thanks. User4 (talk) 14:15, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

I am not sure why you think that it suggests or leads one "to believe that only one code of ethics for BoyLovers exists"? If you read the narrative it says that more exist and links to two others? --Etenne 14:35, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Perhaps due to the use of the article "The," the title is misleading? Have you recently reviewed the usage of the article "the" as opposed to the use of "a" or "one"? I think that if you did, then you would then better understand the reason for my comment. Thanks. User4 (talk) 14:41, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
On third thought, maybe the article would better be titled "BoyLovers' codes of ethics," and then written up as such. There have been a large number of "codes of ethics" written up for and about BoyLovers. What do you think? User4 (talk) 15:11, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Yes, that seems reasonable. --Etenne 20:18, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

IN the section, "Another BoyLovers Response to Dragonlover's code of ethics" who is user4 quoting? Or is this simply an editorial added to an encyclopedia article? --Etenne 11:27, 10 May 2016 (UTC)

User4 is quoting a very experienced BoyLover's experiences with a large number of boys. Dragonlover's "code of ethics" is an editorial, (and it is in an "encyclopedia" article), but it seems that Dragonlover is editorializing on the basis of little or no real-life experience with boys. Personally, I would be willing to bet money that he has very little or no real-life experience on which to base his personal opinions (which he has done in an "encyclopedia" article) regarding what he believes "real" BoyLover's relationships with boys are like. I don't agree. Dragonlover's "code of ethics" is something I added to illustrate one code of ethics that boylovers (Particularly those at EI) have adopted in recent times. While you may personally disagree with all or part of it, it does not change the facts. Encyclopedia articles describe existing things so if you can find other existing code of ethics, free free to include them but stop adding personal option. --Etenne 12:38, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
In fact any time you feel the need to write about your personal opinion don't post it here but to one of the other message boards (i.e. anything that starts with I think) unless you can find an authoritative source who agrees with you. Example you said, "What the Greeks did is irrelevant to today's BoyLovers." And while you may think that and you are entitled to that opinion, it needs to be written professor so-N-so said that "What the Greeks did is irrelevant to today's BoyLovers." Plus, I would argue that that is not a true statement all and that more BL's (particularly BL historians) then not would disagree with that statement. --Etenne 12:55, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
