The magazine begun publication as ''Pan: a magazine about boy-love'' in June 1979. It was supposed to be published five times a year, but its publication was quite irregular. Since issue 13 (October 1982) its titled was changed to ''P.A.N.'' (subtitled ''Paedo Alert News'') and published by [[Coltsfoot Press]]. The last known issue was issue 21 (December 1985).
