Understanding draft pages

Drafts are meant to be works in progress. Namespace Draft is intended to provide a temporary space for entries which are not yet ready for publication.

 • The draft namespace can be used for entries you are actively working on but are not complete. Add or move the new draft entry to the draft namespace Draft:Article name. Entries should also be added to Category:Draft by adding to the bottom of the page
 • Drafts may also be added as a "user subpage" (e.g. User:Your nick/Article name). User-specific drafts may also be located on a subpage in Draft space (e.g. Draft:Article name/Username). These too should be added to Category:Draft by adding to the bottom of the page
 • Publishing a draft requires an editor to use the page move function to move it in the Main (article) namespace. This also maybe be accomplished by adding Template Move to the top of the page for a curator to review and move the entry to the proper namespace and category.
