Events

  • 1561 - Great Bacon? Or just a pedo pig? - Sir Francis Bacon was born in London on this date. He is best known for his philosophical works concerning the acquisition of knowledge. But Bacon also had a fondness for tow-haired red-cheeked youths from Wales. His mother wrote him a letter, which still survives, complaining about the long list of "servants and envoys" who find their way to his bed. She refers to a gay Spanish envoy as "that bloody Perez and bed companion of my son." Bacon was rumored to have been the real author of Shakespeare's works, but with all the other things he accomplished plus all the boy sex he was having, one can hardly imagine he had the time.[1]

  • 1788 - A nobleman, a great poet, and a pedo - Poet George Gordon, better known by his title, Lord Byron, was born on this date. He is reputed to have had a ravenous sexual appetite. Byron's attraction to adolescent boys had first become evident at school, where he referred to his entourage of adoring younger pupils as his Theban band. At Cambridge, Byron fell in with a sophisticated group of like-minded friends fascinated by the theory and practice of sodomy. When he was 17, Byron met and fell in love with John Edleston, a Trinity College chorister, and wrote some of his most beautiful lyrics of lament to his "musical protégé", using the deceptive female name of Thyrza, after Edleston died young. he traveled widely in Greece and Turkey, where sex with boys was more or less accepted as the norm and he found willing partners. He once took a young friend, Nicolo Giraud to a doctor to repair his sphincter. Byron was adored for his literary achievements, and is still remembered today as one of the great writers of his age.[1]
  • 1996 - "Holy jailbait, Batman!" - On this date the New York Times published an article about the attempts to combat pedo crimes in Thailand. What made this more than a run-of-the-mill article was the fact that they discussed one unconventional approach that was being used. Andrew Vachss, a lawyer and writer from New York whose career is devoted to his obsession with fighting the exploitation of children, wrote a Batman novel called Batman: The Ultimate Evil, in which the caped crusader goes to war against the child sex industry in the fictional country of Udon Khai. Udon Khai is Thailand. "You steal childhood itself," shouts an outraged Batman at one point in the story. It is unclear how such a literary triumph was supposed to help combat child sex. If anything, it reminded pedos who read Batman stories of just how easy it is to find kids for sex in some parts of the world.[1]
