Events

  • 570 - I don't know about the slogan "God hates fags," but he certainly seems to like pedos. - The Islamic prophet Muhammad was born on this date. He married Aisha, a six-year-old girl and consummated that marriage when she was nine-years-old. Muhammad was in his 50s at the time. Aisha became Muhammad's favorite wife up to his death, when she was 18. If it was good enough for God's chosen messenger, then why not for the rest of us?[1]
  • 1947 - "I want love, just a different kind" - Elton John was born on this date. his homosexuality has been a matter of public record for decades now, but his interest in boys is somewhat more less advertised. John has been reported to have had relationships with teen boys, and he once did a performance to benefit the Stonewall foundation where 18-year-old male strippers performed by removing boy scout uniforms of the sort worn typically by pre-teen boys. John also has said many times that when he was a little boy he was "dying to be molested." At the very least, there seems to be a lot of evidence that he is pedo-positive.[1]
  • 2002 - First he fell on an alter boy's sword, now he falls on his own - Father Neil Conway, a Roman Catholic priest who abused eight boys in his care, announced on this date that he wanted to start a movement for fellow abusers in the American church in the hope of highlighting the problem and preventing similar assaults taking place. He tracked down and apologized to the boys he abused between 1968 and 1985 while serving as a parish priest in Cleveland. Five have said they forgive him, three have not. Two are suing him and he also faces possible criminal charges. "I was a predator," Father Conway told Newsweek magazine. "I claim full responsibility. Whatever damage I've done to these men can't be undone by me now, but I am deeply regretful for what I did." Father Conway urged others to join him in a movement in which abusive priests talk about their behavior and discuss how the Catholic church can prevent such abuse from continuing. "I am challenging these men to come out in the open with me. I want to say 'let the discussion begin'," he said.[1]
